Ransom Life specifies coverage details for agent texts and limits client calendar content
Ransom Life’s policies distinguish detailed agent-assignment texts from limited client calendar entries. Outside lead buyers still need to establish whether the notification program is included in their offer.

Company profile.
Ransom Life Enterprises’ SMS terms specify requested coverage amounts in agent-assignment texts, while its privacy policy excludes coverage information from client calendar titles and descriptions.
For insurance-agency CRM managers, that distinction matters when deciding which client details should appear outside the sales portal. Outside lead buyers face an additional access question: the documented text program serves opted-in company agents and team members, and the published offer does not establish that buying leads includes it.
The company’s account of James Marsh’s work, updated September 18, 2026, identifies him as director of marketing and says he directs advertising strategy while developing acquisition and sales-operations technology. That responsibility spans campaigns and the software supporting sales. The account does not identify who approved these notification rules.
What each channel carries
The SMS terms, updated September 1, 2026, list a client’s name, state, callback number, requested coverage amount and an appointment time when scheduled. Reminder texts have a different purpose: they direct agents back to the portal.
The privacy policy, updated August 23, 2026, describes client calendar events using a first name, last initial and appointment time. The client’s email address is included as an attendee. Coverage information and other client records are excluded from the title and description. Those document dates do not establish when either function was introduced.
For a software evaluator, the tradeoff is the amount of working context carried into another channel. Based on the specified fields, an assignment text can supply coverage context outside the portal while creating another place where client details appear. The described calendar entry carries less context and cannot by itself supply the requested coverage amount. Neither document reports measured gains in response speed or sales.
Enrollment and buyer access
Ransom Life’s undated agent opt-in documentation describes enrollment inside an authenticated portal. It says consent must be recorded and enrollment is refused if that record cannot be saved. Agents can withdraw through the portal or by replying STOP. These controls were not tested for this profile.
The SMS terms also warn that message and data charges may apply and that delivery can be delayed or fail. They provide no delivery-success measurement, so the documented notification function should not be treated as a delivery guarantee.
The company’s lead-buying page separates purchasing leads from joining the agency and directs buyers to the portal for packages, pricing and availability. Neither that offer nor the internal SMS terms establishes an outside buyer’s entitlement to these notifications. A purchasing agency would need that access confirmed before treating the alerts as an included feature.
