GetAccept’s Sept. 28 Deal Room Release Organizes Buyer Tasks by Milestone

GetAccept’s September 28, 2026, Deal Room release reorganizes its shared Action Plan around milestones. Sellers can expand the tasks beneath each milestone and edit task names, owners, due dates and status inline.

For a sales team coordinating a legal, security or procurement review, the practical use is keeping requested buyer inputs beside the deal steps they support. Invited buyers can act on the plan in a published Deal Room. This is an update to GetAccept’s sales workspace, rather than a native release of a connected CRM.

What happens when a buyer has a task

The release describes requirements a seller can attach to a task: a file upload, text response, date, number or dropdown selection. Sellers can also filter the plan for overdue or assigned work and hide or show plan items.

Under GetAccept’s documented completion rules, a buying-side participant must satisfy attached requirements before marking the task done. A selling-side participant can mark it done regardless. Files buyers upload for a requirement also appear in the Deal Room’s Files area.

Publishing and plan eligibility

A seller must enable the Action Plan in Deal Room settings and publish the room for invited buyers to see and act on it. GetAccept’s USD pricing page lists Mutual Action Plans in Professional at $49 per user per month, with a five-user minimum. Enterprise includes Professional features; the $25-per-user-per-month eSign tier does not list Mutual Action Plans.

Professional also lists CRM integrations, but the September 28 release describes a Deal Room change. It does not say that task controls write back to CRM records. For teams evaluating the release, the relevant question is whether they need buyer-visible milestones and required responses in a published deal workspace.
